FAQs

• How long have your DJ's been djing? Our DJ's have been djing professionally all over 10 years

• How many weddings has your company performed at? We average around 80 weddings a year now and have done over 200.

• Who will be the DJ at my event?  We do not believe in a one size fits all DJ.  We pair a DJ with you that is the best fit for you, your event vision, and the type of music you would like played.  You may also request a specific DJ.

• Will your DJ be able to make announcements?  All our professional DJ's are also professionally trained emcee's and master of ceremonies.  They will make clear, concise announcements and keep your guests well informed.

• What type of equipment do you use?  We only use top of the line professional equipment.

• Will your DJ take song requests from guests?  Yes our DJ's do take requests and will do their best to play them.  We also use our professional judgement to filter requests and will not play the request if it is on the do not play list or is not appropriate.

• Can I make song requests?  You are able to pick which songs you definitely want to hear, and ones you do not want to hear, for your event. We have an online planning system which has in part, our music planner where you can make your song lists.

• Do you have playlists of your music? Yes click HERE for a link to our company Spotify.

• Can you assist me in selecting songs for special moments such as ceremony, first dance, bouquet toss, etc?  We can definitely assist you with song selections and know what works well for certain moments.

• Do we tip the DJ?  We do not include gratuity in the final contract price. 10 – 20% is generally recommended if your DJ did a great job, but it is entirely up to you.

• Should we feed the DJ?  This is not required in our contract and is completely up to you. Typically, the catering director or event coordinator will set aside a meal or boxed dinner for the DJ if requested by the client..

• When should we book a DJ? A good time frame is at least six months before the event. However, we have DJs available for last minute events as well.

• Do you offer any other services?  We offer DJ services for weddings (ceremony and reception) and events in addition to lighting (Uplighting & Dance Floor Lighting). We also offer two types of Photo Booths.

• Do you have any samples of your DJ's work?  We have a company MIXCLOUD page where some of our DJs post original mixes. We do not post any of our wedding or event mixes as each event we do is unique to that client.
